Blockbuster season isn’t complete without a big budget monster movie, so Universal is using the opportunity to further flesh out its shared universe with The Mummy, a modern day reboot that looks a lot less hokey than the ones Brendan Fraser starred in nearly two decades ago. Second-time silver screen director Alex Kurtzman is the latest to take the character on, but he’s recruited an all-star cast of veteran actors (Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe) and hot young talent (Kingsman: The Secret Service scene stealer Sofia Boutella and Annabelle Wallis) to lend support.
