Continuing to pump out material at a dizzying pace, Canadian busybody Yves Jarvis has announced yet another new album. This time, though, it's for a new project alongside Tasseomancy's Romy Lightman called Lightman Jarvis Ecstatic Band.

The duo's debut album is called Banned, and it's set to arrive on June 25 via Flemish Eye/ANTI-.

Right now, you can check out the first teaser track "Elastic Band" below.

"There are archetypes associated with love and togetherness," Romy Lightman said in a statement. "Then there's a deeper way of being that sometimes isn't documented. Our Ecstatic Band genuinely expresses that. It's not only about a genre resonating and what came about musically — it's about our love in collaboration with wind, trillium, plague days, moss and Precambrian rock."

The album was recorded at the Tree Museum, an outdoor art gallery in rural Ontario hosting residencies for contemporary sculptors over the past 20 years. As a press release puts it, "The pair credit its 200 acres of natural spaces intermingling with human-made creations as the fuel for their unfettered process. Recorded over two weeks in a free-flowing stream of improvisation, the album finds Lightman on synthesizer with Jarvis on drums and guitar, as their voices weave together into an electrified pastoral tapestry."

Yves Jarvis released the new album Sundry Rock Song Stock last year.
