Montreal-based electronic artist Catherine Debard has readied a new album as YlangYlang. Titled Interplay, the effort arrives January 31 through Crash Symbols.

Eight tracks in length, Interplay is described by Debard as an effort that explores "how we are shaped and shaping our experience at the same time" and "how free we can be within our own limitations."

Inspired in part by the writing of Danish poet Inger Christensen, Interplay is said to bring together a "warming combination of synths, field recordings, and backing instrumentation." First song "Limitless" arrives today alongside the album announcement, and can be heard below.

Last year saw Debard release a self-titled YlangYlang single, as well as a split single with Così E Così. Both efforts arrived through Personal Records.

Interplay:

1. Dualities
2. Limitless
3. The Key
4. Lost Realms
5. Motion
6. Our Provisional
7. Nocturnal
8. Perspective
