Having just announced their new album Townie (due April 5 through Virgin Music Group), X Ambassadors are set to bring their new music where those titular folks are: Canada. The band — Sam Nelson, Casey Harris and Adam Levin — have announced a sprawling world tour, which includes a dozen Canadian dates in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec.
After a European/UK leg, X Ambassadors have recruited Noah Gundersen to join them on their April venture into Canada, beginning April 5 at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre. They'll play an additional BC date in Kelowna (April 6) ahead of a pair of Alberta shows in Calgary (April 9) and Edmonton (April 11), as well as lone stops in Saskatoon (April 12) and Winnipeg (April 13).
The band then have four Ontario concerts and two in Quebec on the books, performing in London (April 16), Ottawa (April 18), Waterloo (April 23), Toronto (April 24), Montreal (April 17) and Quebec City (April 19). After that, they're US-bound with Rowan Drake and Toronto's own New West through mid-June.
