Last spring, arty Danish outfit WhoMadeWho delivered the "curiously weird" Knee Deep EP, but the band haven't dropped a proper full-length affair since 2009's The Plot. The tides will change in 2012, though, as the disco-punkers have announced their next platter, Brighter.
Kompakt will deliver the album February 27. Like previous releases, the record is said to parade "pop and disco memes with punk paraphernalia." Down below, you can check out the first single "Inside World," fuelled by oscillated synth swells, Jeppe Kjellberg's smooth croon and a driving backbeat.
Before the album drops, however, the song will be issued as a seven-inch single, with an acoustic version gracing the flip. That particular take also features former Czars singer John Grant tackling vocal duties. The single will be available January 23 through Kompakt, though you can purchase the song digitally as of now on iTunes.
