Wax Mannequin and Construction & Destruction Team Up for Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 4, 2014

Canuck songwriter Wax Mannequin met Maritime duo Construction & Destruction while taking part in a collaborative project in Whitehorse last year. Now, the two acts are teaming up for a tour of Canada's eastern half.

The tour takes place this month. Wax Mannequin will head to the East Coast to link up with Construction & Destruction. They will play nine shows together in all, eventually wrapping up in Ontario, where Wax Mannequin has a couple of gigs of his own. See the schedule below.

Wax Mannequin discussed his love of Construction & Destruction in a blog post, writing, "We make very different-sounding sounds but we write about many of the same things, and for the same reasons. So when these mild-mannered soulmates suggested that we tour together I was secretly giddy."

The songwriter has apparently been working on a pop-centric new album, so expect more updates about that when information is available.
