Neil Young, an accomplished archivist, recently treated audiences to songs never played live before on his first tour in four years, and he's kept the rarities coming in playing two classic albums with Crazy Horse at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA.
For their first performance since 2019, Young and Crazy Horse performed 1969's Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and 1975's Tonight's the Night in their entirety yesterday evening (September 20).
The concert, celebrating the Roxy Theatre's 50th anniversary, saw proceeds go to California's Painted Turtle summer camp and the Bridge School, the organization co-founded by singer-songwriter and Young's late wife, Pegi Young.
In addition to setlist staples like "Down by the River" and "Cowgirl in the Sand," the evening featured performances of live rarities like "Tired Eyes," "Mellow My Mind," "Borrowed Tune" and "Lookout Joe" — some of which have not been played since their early '70s conception.

Young previously dusted off live recordings from that aforementioned era for 2018's archival release Roxy: Tonight's the Night Live, which was later included in his massive 2020 Archives Vol. II box set.
Last week, Young announced plans to treat Times Fades Away to a 50th anniversary reissue. His more recent archival offerings include the long-lost Chrome Dreams album, and live set Odeon Budokan.
