July Talk have returned with a timely new video for their Pay for It song "The News," which shows the band as TV reporters covering the dumpster fire that is the modern news cycle.
The video was directed by the group's Leah Fay Goldstein and Peter Dreimanis, as well as Norah Sadava and Mike McLaughlin who also worked on July Talk's video for "Pay for It." In addition to the new video, the band have also hinted at plans for new music on the way soon.
"We are working on writing new music as always, and cannot wait to get back on the road to perform for you all once it's safe," the band wrote in a statement. "Much love, please play it safe out there so we can get through this thing."
Pay for It arrived through Sleepless Records/BMG last summer.
