Despite this seeming like perhaps an odd pair-up, hip-hop hero El-P has teamed up with glossy L.A. troupe Warpaint to have a go at their self-titled album's "Keep It Healthy."
Considering this is El-P we're talking about here, it's no surprise that the remix comes with a heady dose of beatwork, as well as a jagged mishmash of left-field samples and bass drops. Check it out for yourself below.
El-P's rework, as well as one a remix of "Disco//Very" by Richard Norris, is out now digitally, but the tracks will also arrive on a 12-inch via Rough Trade in June. It's limited to 500 copies and can be pre-ordered here. The digital release includes an additional "Disco//very" remix by Moody Good.
