Last year, electronic master Vincent Clarke teamed up with his former Depeche Mode bandmate Martin Gore to release Ssss, a collaboration as VCMG. Now, Clarke has offered up a series of other projects to look forward to in 2013.
First off is a new Erasure album. Speaking with The Quietus, Clarke revealed that he's "getting together with Andy [Bell] soon and starting on the next Erasure album."
While he didn't have many details, he also said that he'd be joining Bell to record a new album of classic Erasure material, reinterpreted in an ambient style with the aid of a violin player.
In addition to all of that, Clarke said he's also working on an "electronic dance record," which will see him "collaborate with a few DJs and dance guys." He won't say who just yet, but we'll let you know more information as it becomes available.
