This is release week for Women successors Viet Cong, and the Calgary band are hyping their new self-titled LP with a video for "Silhouettes."
The song is a spiky post-punk number, while the video ventures into sci-fi territory by showing an individual in a space suit exploring a darkened house. Throw in some crude computer graphics, trippy-looking clouds of colour and a mysterious, smoking treasure chest, and it amounts to a spooky clip that will appeal to sci-fi and horror fans alike.
It was directed by Brook Linder. Watch it below.
Viet Cong is out now on Flemish Eye/Jagjaguwar.
