With Christmas less than three weeks away, Fraser Valley music blog (and CIVL 101.7 radio show) Birds of Canada is celebrating the season by unveiling a compilation of holiday material from a host of indie acts.
Many of the artists come from the Fraser Valley or elsewhere in Canada, and contributors include Moka Only, the City Streets, OK Vancouver OK, Zaac Pick, Candy Claws and more.
There are 17 songs in all, which are available for free. A description accompanying the album reads, "A festive compilation for sledding, unwrapping gifts, stringing up lights, mulling apple cider, getting stuck in traffic jams on the way to the mall, 3 ferry sailing waits, and all things wintery."
