Vanessa Carlton has announced plans for a North American tour behind forthcoming album Love Is an Art, and the "A Thousand Miles" hitmaker has penciled in one show in Canada for her faithful listeners north of the border.
After kicking the tour off in St. Louis on April 2, Carlton will play Toronto's Drake Underground on April 9.
But how many miles will Carlton actually travel to make her way to Ontario? Don't worry — we've already crunched the numbers for you.
Using a mileage calculator and a high-school math education, we've determined that Carlton will travel a total of 1,438.52 miles (about 2,315 km) between her first seven venues to arrive at the Drake Hotel.
Support on the run will come from Jenny O, while dates for a second leg will be announced in February. One dollar from each ticket purchased will be donated to the Nashville Ballet.
