Vancouver nightlife is taking yet another hit, as Venue Nightclub is now officially up for sale.
Formerly known as the Plaza, Venue is located on the once-busy Granville Strip, and a new listing for the 8,000-square-foot space has now appeared online, Daily Hive points out.
The listing by Restaurant Business Broker describes the space at 881 Granville St. as "one of Vancouver's premier concert & nightclub locations."
The two-room space is able to accommodate two different artists/DJs at the same time and boasts a 356-person liquor primary over two floors.
"The lease, music & sound equipment, liquor license & goodwill are already built into this asset," RBB adds.
Venue has been operating on Granville since 2009, and in addition to serving as a more traditional nightclub, it hosted a ton of concerts over its many years. However, like all Vancouver venues, it has largely been closed during the ongoing pandemic.
As previously reported, Vancouver's the Emerald also recently announced that it would be closing permanently.
