Yesterday we reported that Roger Waters lost his famous floating pig Sunday night during his set at Coachella in the California desert. A staple of his shows, the pig somehow got loose and flew off into the night. A saddened Waters offered up a generous reward of $10,000 and four lifetime passes to the festival, but it appears the pig just didn't have a chance.
According to Drowned in Sound, Waters' piggy - which was covered in pro-Obama and anti-war slogans - is now officially strips of bacon as it was found torn in two pieces at a resort in La Quinta, California.
Susan Stolz found the graffitied swine at the Hideaway Country Club yesterday (April 29) and initially threw the remains in the trash, only to eventually learn about the reward and contact the Coachella folks.
