Before last year's Color Your Life EP, New York dream pop outfit Twin Sister began building a buzz with Vampires with Dreaming Kids. This EP was released for free via the band's website in 2008 and is still available for purchase digitally on Bandcamp. However, this summer it will finally get a proper vinyl release.
The collection is due to arrive in stores on July 19 via Infinite Best. If you have never heard the EP before, the press release states it "was recorded ragtag, in drifting parallax -- a beginning blurred in a mirror. This is the definitive document of that origin, when a wholly unique sound emerged."
Even those familiar with this EP will want to check out this vinyl, since it comes with a complete alternate version. Check out the original tracklist below, and go down to the bottom of this page to hear a stream of the whole thing.
As previously announced, the band will head out on tour this summer. This includes a handful of dates with Beirut and a few more with Wild Nothing, plus Canadian shows in Toronto and Montreal. You can see all the dates here.
Vampires with Dreaming Kids:
1. "Dry Hump"
2. "Ginger"
3. "Nectarine"
4. "I Want a House"
