Trust's Robert Alfons told Exclaim! that his new album, Joyland, finds him embracing a broader palette of emotions than his past work. He's made good on that promise by sharing the cut "Are We Arc?"
While the song has some of Trust's signature shadowy synths, there are also warm textures and front-and-centre vocals that give this one a soft, dreamy vibe that's a departure from previously unveiled cuts like the banging "Rescue, Mister" or the soaring "Capitol."
