Christmas just isn't Christmas without the Trans-Siberian Orchestra rendition of "Carol of the Bells." This year, the group are celebrating 20 years of their beloved 2004 rock opera, The Lost Christmas Eve — as well as their 20th million concertgoer, and surpassing $20 million in their philanthropic efforts — by taking a brand new show on the road across North America. They're set to make a pair of Canadian stops in Ottawa and Toronto this holiday season.
The tour kicks off on November 13 in both Council Bluffs, IA, and Green Bay, WI — so unless they've figured out how to be two places at once, we can only assume two different Trans-Siberian Orchestra lineups will be making the rounds. (It occurs too often in the itinerary to be a typo, but press materials do not clarify.) One of the iterations of the ensemble will venture to Canada on November 27 to perform at Ottawa's Canadian Tire Centre.
After completing the vast majority of the run in the US, the Christmas spirit returns to Canadian soil to close out the tour with both matinee and evening shows at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on December 30.
