Dedicated to commissioning and presenting composers of our time, Toronto's Thin Edge New Music Collective (TENMC) have announced their second-annual Reverb showcase series.
With the doors of the 918 Bathurst Culture, Arts, Media & Education Centre opening at 8 p.m. on June 22, the event will mark TENMC's final in-person concert of the season — but it will also be available to watch via a free livestream.
Reverb II is set to showcase works by the late JUNO-winning Jocelyn Morlock, as well as St. Johns-hailing Bekah Simms, Montreal's Romain Camiolo and Iranian composer Nasim Khorassini. Furthermore, TENMC will also give the world premiere performances of works by multidisciplinary artist Luke Nickel and Pittsburgh-based composer Devon Osamu Tipp.
Tickets are available both in advance and at the door, priced at $20 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and arts workers. As aforementioned, the livestream will be free to watch, but donations are being accepted.
