Toronto's Rivoli Is for Sale

The venue has hosted Drake, Adele and more

An online realty listing has revealed that Toronto nightclub and live music venue Rivoli is for up for sale.

The ad for the venue, located at 334 Queen Street West, highlights its "truly exceptional back music venue perfect for live performances," noting, "the combination of huge LLBO capacity and coveted acoustics are a rare find." The price tag is listed at $499,000.

The realty listing also cherrypicks a list of "incredible talent" that has graced the Rivoli stage since it opened in 1982, including Drake, Amy Winehouse, Adele and the Tragically Hip's Gord Downie.

The venue has also played host to Kid Koala, the OBGMs, Spencer Burton and more, as well as comedians including Kevin McDonaldChris Gethard, Byron Bowers and Pete Johansson.

Earlier this year, Fucked Up released their Rivoli live album that was recorded at the venue in 2014. The establishment is also featured prominently in Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol's Nirvanna the Band the Show.
