Just weeks after announcing her return to Boiler Room Toronto, locally based DJ and producer Zorza has previewed her set by sharing new EP Hyperdream.
The four-track project was teased by its title track back in December and again by "4Ever" at the beginning of the month.
Rounded out by "Ashes 2 Dust" and "Endlessly" today, Hyperdream takes shape as a delightful melting pot of electronic subgenres.
"This EP was inspired by my love for early 2000s trance, hard dance and modern hyperpop," Zorza said in a press release. "I wanted to create a project that embodied my favourite aspects of these genres and through this I really feel I’ve found my authentic sound. Making this project allowed me to experiment with dissolving boundaries and create my own world."
Ahead of Boiler Room on June 1, Zorza fans will be able to experience Hyperdream live for the first time when she headlines Toronto's Coda on March 16.
