BY Calum SlingerlandPublished May 25, 2016

Following yesterday's news that frontman Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, Canadian rock vets the Tragically Hip have detailed a summer tour in support of their forthcoming album Man Machine Poem.

The cross-country trek will begin in Victoria, BC, on July 22, and will take the band across Canada for around a month, wrapping things up in their native Kingston, ON, with a performance on August 20. "We're going to dig deep," the group said of the dates yesterday, "and try to make this our best tour yet."

Tickets for all tour dates will go on sale to the general public on June 3 at 10 a.m. local time, while American Express members can get their hands on tickets from May 31 through June 2. A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Sunnybrook Foundation.
