The Pistolwhips are revving up to release the follow-up to 2014's debut LP On Your Side, but before Voices arrives next February, the band have offered up a lyric video for the lead single of the same name.
The new record was made at Revolution and Vespa Studios in Toronto with producer Eric Ratz, who helped the group hone a sound that's more polished and mature than their first album.
The first sample of that new and improved sound shines through on the title track, which has been paired with some funky visuals. The new lyric video is as colourful, fuzzed-out and energetic as the song itself.
"It's time to open up our audience to exactly what we're all about," guitarist Paul Kuzbik said in a statement. "You'll know in the first 10 seconds of this single, exactly who we are."
