The House of Love Announce Their First North American Tour in Nearly 30 Years

The classic U.K. indie group will hit Toronto and Vancouver

Cult U.K. dream-pop unit the House of Love have announced they are embarking on their first North American tour in nearly three decades. And yes, the band are coming to Canada.

The House of Love — a group who famously got their start on Creation Records — last played North America in 1992, but with band now celebrating the 30th anniversary of their cult-classic self-titled debut, they are finally making their return.

Guy Chadwick will bring his House of Love to North America this spring, starting with a show on May 6 in New York City. From there, the House of Love will play a string of U.S. cities, as well as Canadian date in Toronto on May 10 and Vancouver on May 14.

Since the trip is being billed as a 30th Anniversary Tour of The House of Love, expect the band to break out classic tracks like "Christine," "Shine On," "Hope" and more.

The House of Love was treated to a 30th anniversary deluxe reissue through Cherry Red in 2018. At the time, the band went on a U.K. anniversary tour as well.
