The Fart Pedal Will Create a Truly Ripping Guitar Tone

"These fart noises have been tailored specifically for a guitar amplifier, and tuned for exceptional live or studio performance"

We've caught wind of a ripping new piece of guitar gear: the Fart Pedal, which turns guitar playing into fart noises.

The Fart Pedal features "wet" and "dry" modes, as well as an "output" knob to adjust how much gas is in the mix.

To be clear: this is not at all the same thing as a fuzz pedal, which admittedly can get a bit fart-y in lower octaves or when playing multiple notes. In fact, the Fart Pedal doesn't even appear to play notes, as demo videos show that it completely replaces the sound of your guitar with gross, ripping fart sounds.

The pedal isn't actually available in stores — yet. Gadlin is still raising money on Kickstarter to put the Fart Pedal into full-blown production, but he's already exceeded his goal of $37,841 CAD by raising $54,832 as of this writing. That's a lot of farts!

The Kickstarter campaign notes, "I worked with an award-winning sound design company in Chicago to develop bespoke, custom fart noises, for which I hold the exclusive license. These fart noises have been tailored specifically for a guitar amplifier, and tuned for exceptional live or studio performance."

It costs $165 USD ($207.49) to buy the pedal on Kickstarter. The estimated delivery date is December 2021, and the initial run will be 250 pedals. You can also pay $25 USD ($31.44 CAD) for a custom Fart Pedal video. Each pedal comes with some "fake out" decals that allow buyers to disguise the pedal and prank their friends.
