The Dandy Warhols Detail 'Distortland' LP, Announce North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 29, 2016

After announcing earlier this month that they'd signed to Dine Alone Records to deliver a new album, Portland outfit the Dandy Warhols have now issued a few proper details behind the release. Titled Distortland, the band's first full-length in four years is due to drop April 8.

The act had previously teased the impending set with a stream of "You Are Killing Me," which is now confirmed to be the seventh song on the 10-track release. A new lyric video for the single, which finds animated hands scribbling images of scissors and cannons as the lyrics scroll across the page, can be found down below.

The record marks the first long-player from the Dandy Warhols since 2012's This Machine. That'd be its city skyline-saluting cover art up above. It's worth noting that Distortland reads like a pun on their native Portland.

Additionally, it's been revealed that Courtney Taylor-Taylor and the rest of the group will tour the release throughout the spring. Following appearances at March's SXSW event in Austin, the Dandy Warhols will travel to various North American clubs in April. This includes Canadian stops in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
