George Daniel — 1975 drummer, fiancé to Charli XCX and partial architect of BRAT summer — has dropped his first-ever solo single, the clubby "Screen Cleaner."
Daniel's debut single definitely shares some DNA with his partner's recent work, and it wouldn't sound all that out of place on a BRAT remix album.
It arrives via Daniel's Dirty Hit imprint DH2, which was announced earlier this year and will release Kelly Lee Owens's Dreamstate in October.
