Toronto two-piece Terrorista are releasing a string of four cassettes that will eventually be compiled into a full album. Following this September's Pink Tape, the guitar/drums duo have rolled out Purple Tape.
The tape consists of just two songs. "Darren vs Bag" is a brawny rocker with husky shouts and a blitz of a distorted riffs and speedy drum fills. "Double Negative" isn't too much of a departure from that soundscape, but it lasts close to five minutes, and it's more of a slow-burn than an immediate explosion.
Listen below, and stay tuned for Green Tape and Blue Tape to follow within the next six months.
