Toronto-based indie-prog combo Ten Kens last left us with their 2010 sophomore set Posterity, but the band have announced their return this fall with another LP, titled Namesake.
The group will self-release the album on September 4, and a press release describes the third full-length from the outfit as "their most powerful and poignant record to date." A tracklisting has yet to be delivered, but Ten Kens apparently have shaken up their sound to explore their "dark psychedelic side."
You can get a sneak preview of Namesake via the troupe's subtle, black and white clip for the deceptively titled "Bliss." The gloomy vid, which you can see below, was directed and edited by band member Dan Workman.
