Electronic duo Teengirl Fantasy are preparing to release their sample-free sophomore LP, Tracer, on August 21 via True Panther Sounds. Before the album drops, Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi will be spreading the word with a world tour that features dates here in North America.
Following a festival-heavy run of shows in Europe in July, the pair will cross the Atlantic for a brief August tour here in North America. All told, they currently have five West Coast dates booked, including a gig at Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel. All of the shows are with Gatekeeper and Thunder Horse, and you can see the schedule below.
As for Tracer, it includes guest vocal spots from Panda Bear, Romanthony, Laurel Halo and more. The album promises to scale back the band's signature sonic haze, and the duo said in a statement that the meticulously crafted affair will showcase "a wacked version of the pop format."
