We've heard a couple of songs from Surfer Blood's upcoming album, Pythons, and now they've shared another with "Gravity."
This is perhaps the brightest and poppiest entry in Surfer Blood's catalogue to date, as boppy rhythms are overlaid a dead-simple three-chord progression and sunny melodies. This cheery retro-pop pastiche is faintly reminiscent of something we might hear from She & Him, although the riff-laden breakdowns are pure Surfer Blood.
