Halifax's Citadel Hill is set to host the first annual Summersonic music festival that will see some of Canada's most renowned musicians taking the trip out east.
Set to play are Juno winning City and Colour, prairie darlings the Weakerthans, indie superstars Tokyo Police Club, as well as Stars, Wintersleep, Hey Rosetta, In Flight Safety, Rebekah Higgs and I See Rowboats.
Summersonic will take place the weekend of July 19 and 20. Tickets for the outdoor event are $39.50 per day or $69.50 for a two-day pass and can be purchased starting Saturday June 21 at 10:00 a.m. For more information, visit the Summersonic website.
