Tim Showalter's folk-rock act Strand of Oaks recently released HEAL, their first LP for Dead Oceans. To promote the release, the band stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Backed by a drummer, a bassist and a pianist, Showalter belted out album track "Shut In." The rhythmic anthem eventually built up to a somewhat explosive climax, making for an excellent televised appearance.
