Starfucker Extend North American Tour, Add Shows in Toronto, Vancouver

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 13, 2011

The last time Portland party starters Starfucker were on the road, they got into an altercation with police at SXSW and ended up going on an anti-police tirade on Twitter. Still, the electro-pop outfit aren't letting that memory spoil their fun, as they have expanded their tour plans to include another North American outing in September.

This latest trek has two added Canadian dates: Vancouver's Electric Owl on September 2 and Toronto's Lee's Palace on September 20. There's also a slew of U.S. dates all across the country, as the band will play shows almost every day that month.

Before the September tour begins, the band will play a smattering of dates this summer. This includes a three-day stop at Sled Island in Calgary later this month. Along the way, Starfucker will be promoting Reptilians, which came out earlier this year through Polyvinyl.
