Small Sins Announce Cross-Canada Fall Tour

BY Lama AlsafiPublished Oct 4, 2010

Small Sins have a lot to celebrate these days. The Toronto indie/electro poppers have just digitally released their new album, Pot Calls Kettle Black, snagged a gig at the ongoing Pop Montreal festival, and are collaborating with artists such as K-os and producer John McEntire (Tortoise/the Sea and Cake). On top of all that, they have announced a cross-Canada tour in support of their new album.

Led by Thomas D'Arcy (formerly of the Carnations), the band will kick things off in Ottawa on November 11, with two hometown shows following on November 12 and 13 before they head west and wrap things up on November 25 in Vancouver.

According to the band's press release, their new album features some of the strongest Small Sins songs to date. Thomas D'Arcy wears his "heart on his sleeve, writing hooks sharp enough to snag even the most resilient."

You can listen to the K-os collaboration "Déjà vu" on the Small Sins MySpace and check out the new video for "You Will Lie" below.

Look for Pot Calls Kettle Black in stores physically on October 12 on Small Sins Music via indie giant Arts & Crafts.
