After delivering their four-track demo I Know You Do It Too in July of last year, Toronto four-piece Slurry have returned with a new EP, which you can hear in its entirety through Exclaim! right now.
The band's Given / So So EP is, as they put it, "a two-song reflection on moving on and waiting in vain." The effort was recorded live off the floor by Dan Mclay at R.I.P. Studios at the end of 2017, and was mixed by the band's Patrick McKenna.
The EP can also be downloaded here, with all proceeds from album sales going directly to Sistering, a not-for-profit agency serving Toronto's most vulnerable women, homeless or precariously housed, often with mental health and substance use issues.
Slurry's next live date in Toronto will find them lining up alongside Baby Cages and Fredericton trio Motherhood at the Burdock on April 4. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, with further information available here.
