On February 18, Nick Harte's eccentric indie pop project Shocking Pinks will release its absolutely massive triple-album Guilt Mirrors. He's now shared another of the collection's 34 tracks with "St. Louis."
The song is a minimal, lyrically morose acoustic ballad featuring vocals from Gemma Syme. The haunting arrangement sports atmospheric overdubs, heaps of reverb and lots of background hiss, and it gets slightly more densely lush towards the end.
Guilt Mirrors, which was recorded in the wake of a devastating earthquake in Harte's hometown of Christchurch in New Zealand, will arrive through Stars & Letters.
