Saves the Day and Say Anything Members Form Two Tongues

The members of Vagrant Records acts Saves the Day and Say Anything are teaming up for a new project they’ve called Two Tongues. Max Bemis and Colby Linder of Say Anything are collaborating with Chris Conley and David Soloway of Saves the Day for what has been touted as a combination of the former’s …Is a Real Boy and the latter’s Through Being Cool. The 13-track album was recorded late last year at Electric Ladybug Studios in California.

On the official Say Anything website, Bemis wrote, "The Two Tongues record is really an expression of the yin and yang; how two opposite souls stimulate and battle each other in any truly loving relationship. Chris inspired me as a mentor, hero, and friend, and I inspired him as someone who truly cherishes his work that he can respect in his own right.”

Their self-titled debut is set to be released on February 3, 2009 and one preview track is already available online via the Two Tongues MySpace page. Neither Saves the Day nor Say Anything have scheduled any shows for the remainder of the year.
