Sarah Neufeld

"Where the Light Comes In"

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 4, 2016

After recently premiering a Kid Koala remix of the title track to her forthcoming The Ridge release, violin-toting Canadian musician Sarah Neufeld has now offered up a taste from the LP proper. Her beautifully bowed "Where the Light Comes In" is streaming now.

The piece plays out elegantly and minimal, with Neufeld's slide of hopeful string work coursing through the speakers throughout its three-and-a-half-minute runtime. While other previews have offered up a mix of sounds, the violin is front and centre on this breathtaking piece.

The Ridge is Neufeld's first solo release with Paper Bag Records, and it hits stores February 26. You'll find info on a supporting tour over here.
