The indie pop-playing Vancouverites in Said the Whale recently fielded fan suggestions regarding possible cover tunes at SodaHead, and today they released their the results: a version of the Beatles' psychedelic classic "Tomorrow Never Knows."
The tune is a big departure from the guitar pop stylings we're used to hearing from Said the Whale, as it sports intricately syncopated electronic beats and woozy swaths of experimental synths. This means that the cover is a big departure from the arrangement from Revolver, but it still remains true to the melodically adventurous spirit of the Beatles' original.
