With Robyn set to make a guest appearance on Kindness's upcoming sophomore LP, Otherness, the UK R&B maker born Adam Bainbridge has returned the favour by whipping up a new remix of the Swedish singer's "Monument" collaboration with Röyksopp.
Kindness pitch-shifts the cut down a couple keys, bringing a slow but steady, shaker-driven kwaito beat into the mix alongside the airy sounds of the original. In addition to Robyn's plaintive vocals, the track now also features slippery '80s slap bass and the bustling vocals of South African singer/poet Busiswa.
Robyn said of the redo in a statement: "[Kindness] brought the song to a new place, his place. It's a place that I love. Busiswa sounds so good on it too, I'm happy to have another girl on there."
You can check out the stream of the revamped Do It Again track down below, while it goes up for sale this Monday (August 18). Bainbridge's Otherness arrives in North America on October 14 through Female Energy and a day earlier overseas.
