Rose Windows Announce Sophomore LP for Sub Pop

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 9, 2015

Seattle outfit Rose Windows are back with another album of what they have previously described as "insufferable psychedelic garbage." Their self-titled sophomore album will be out on May 5 through Sub Pop.

The album was produced and mixed by Randall Dunn (Six Organs of Admittance, Sunn O))), the Cave Singers). That's the album cover above and the tracklist below.

For a taste of what the album sounds like, scroll down to the bottom of this page to hear "Glory, Glory" [via Consequence of Sound], which is injected with swaggering mega-riffs.

Rose Windows is available to pre-order from Sub Pop on CD, vinyl or digital download. Those who pre-order the vinyl online will get the so-called Loser Edition on black and red marbled vinyl, plus a 7-inch with the non-album song "Never Did Me Wrong" and a cover of Led Zeppelin's "The Wanton Song" (while supplies last).

This is the follow-up to 2011's The Sun Dogs, which was also on Sub Pop.
