This year was a big one for former Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters, who took The Wall on tour and landed at No. 10 in Pollstar's list of the top-earning acts of 2010. Waters will be continuing the tour in 2011 and is reportedly planning on filming his shows at London's O2 arena for a possible DVD.
As Brain Damage [via Consequence of Sound] points out, a new message on the singer's official website reveals, "Roger Waters will be filming and recording all 6 shows at The O2 Arena in London in May. For these shows, photographs are permitted but we must insist on NO Flash photography. Flash wipes out the images projected on the Wall, which are the most important part of the show. Any person who uses Flash will have their camera confiscated and could be removed from the Arena."
Waters's tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of The Wall, which came out in 1979. We'll have to see if Waters's new DVD sparks any more accusations of anti-Semitism.
