It's been a minute since we've heard new material from British-born, Canadian-raised, Berlin-based techno master Richie Hawtin. That said, he's kept busy with his annual ENTER party in Ibiza. Ahead of its third year, Hawtin has prepared a hefty, multiple-disc mix.
Because the party itself is spread across four rooms, Hawtin has curated a four-disc mix to go along with it. A press release notes that the ENTER.Ibiza 2014 compilation is designed to "take listeners on a journey through all the different sounds and moods encountered in each room."
ENTER.Sake is the chill-out disc in the mix and will be compiled by Bella Sarris. ENTER.Terrace is more focused on house music and was compiled by Apollonia. Finally, ENTER.Main is straight-up techno, mixed by Matador, and ENTER.Mind will feature experimental sounds chosen by Matthew Hawtin, Richie's brother.
