Ricardo Donoso Reveals 'Machine to Machine' LP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 9, 2015

Genre-defying electronic explorer Ricardo Donoso has already released an album in 2015, and now he's got another one on the way. This latest effort is called Machine to Machine, and it will be out on July 31 through Denovali Records.

After the jarring Saravá Exu, the new LP reportedly finds the Brazil-born/Boston-based Donoso returning to a more melodic electronic sound while fusing his many stylistic forays and retaining some of his dissonant tendencies. It was created over the course of the past two years during breaks between other projects.

According to a press release, Machine to Machine employs subliminal techniques like backmasking, ZMET and hidden messages, making the album "a meditation on priming with and without awareness and a treatise on the psychophysics of our contemporary age."

The tracklist is below. Scroll past that to hear the lushly flowering electronic piece "Dance of Attunement" at the bottom of the page.

The record will be available on double-vinyl, CD, or digital formats.
