Revealed: Metal's Top 10 Worst Album Covers

BY Farah BarakatPublished Sep 15, 2009

If you've always wanted to know what the ten worst metal album covers were, they're now all assembled in a convenient top-ten list. Courtesy of Noisecreep.com, some of the most cringeworthy album jackets the genre has to offer are laid out for your viewing pleasure/displeasure.

Pantera tops the list with their 1983 release, Metal Magic, which, as you can see from the image above, features some crudely drawn Masters of the Universe-like cat man. Helloween's Chameleon also made the list with what looks like a reject prototype for a Genesis album, as did Dragonforce's latest release, Ultra Beatdown, and Riot's Narita, which features what looks like a sumo wrestler with a head of a seal posing on a beach.
