Regina Spektor is gearing up to head off on a Regina Spektour of North America this summer and fall, and she's accompanied the show announcements with the release of new single "Loveology."
Spektor's new album Home, before and after arrives on June 24, after which she'll immediately begin a run of shows supporting the record on June 25 in Napa, CA. The tour's lone Canadian stop is October 12 at Toronto's Massey Hall, ahead of capping off the run back in California at Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall on October 27. On select dates, she'll be joined by Norah Jones or the Avett Brothers.
Of the new single, Spektor said in a statement: "With 'Loveology,' I wrote it and then played it once or twice live. Sometimes I'll have a song that I'm really glad exists, but I can't record it because every time I try, it just doesn't feel right coming out of my mouth. But for whatever reason both 'Loveology' and 'Raindrops' felt so right this time and I'm so glad I was finally able to put them on a record."
Tickets are available for presale starting tomorrow (June 8) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, ahead of going on sale to the general public on Friday (June 10).
