Primus Take 'Green Naugahyde' on North America Tour, Hit Up Montreal and Toronto

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 18, 2011

Last month, slap-bass lovers rejoiced when alt-rockers Primus announced plans to release Green Naugahyde on September 13 via ATO/Prawn Song. Well, those hoping to see Les Claypool shred his four-stringer in person are in luck: this fall, the group will be coming through Canada on a North American tour.

Each show on the month-long trek features two full sets from the band. In addition to playing shows all over the U.S., they have two Canadian dates lined up: Montreal on October 4 and Toronto the next day.

Each gig is being billed as "An Evening with Primus." That's a pretty classy-sounding show for a band whose big single was called "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver."

You can pre-order concert tickets over at Primus's official site. Green Naugahyde is also available for pre-order. Click here to read up on the album, and check out the live schedule below.
