Continuing to support last fall's Revenge EP, Calgary outfit Port Juvee have unveiled a video for the record's title track, pulling together visuals that are part misty-eyed '50s throwback, part spooky sci-fi.
The visuals for this Strokes-esque garage rock track appear to have been culled from vintage black and white movies. They show youths from decades past, but amidst these nostalgic glimpses of days gone by, we see monkey children riding bicycles and the whole thing culminates in a fiery, ghoulish apocalypse.
In a statement, vocalist Brett Sanford said that the band "wanted to put together something that embodied the balance between coming-of-age youth culture and the enormous destructive power of mid-century America." Scroll past the band's tour schedule to watch it below.
Tour dates:
04/25 Calgary, AB - The Palomino (11th Anniversary Party)
05/05 Toronto, ON - The Central
05/06 Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace (CMW)
05/07 Toronto, ON - Supermarket (CMW)
05/08 Toronto, ON - Horseshoe Tavern (CMW)
