Now that we know that Pharrell Williams's new solo LP is due sometime this year through Columbia Records, the N.E.R.D. vet is helping spread the word for both it and Beats by Dre's Beat Pill mini-speaker system in a new commercial.
Previously, we had seen Williams hop, skip and sing through the track in a 24-hour music video, but this time around the promo clip is cut down to about 30 seconds. The smooth-voiced singer steps around the city accompanied by an animated, anthropomorphic Beat Pills crew, but we also get to see Pusha T swing his arms to the peppy tune.
"Happy" is set to appear on the forthcoming LP, though few other details have been let loose behind the project. We imagine once it's set loose, it'll sound nice on a Beat Pill.
